Youghal Bay 10k & Half Marathon 2025
A multi-lap course through the Medieval Streets of Youghal and the beautiful scenic Front Strand area. This is the perfect course to set a PB and is an ideal warmup up for those training for an Autumn Marathon. We have a unique 2 lap course so your supporters will have plenty of opportunity to watch you as you make your way around and enjoy a fantastic running atmosphere and breathtaking scenery

What You Need to Know
Date & Start Time: The race kicks off at 9:00 am on August 3rd.
Starting Location: The starting line is conveniently located at TUS old Cratloe road —exact details will be provided upon registration.
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces are available near the start/finish area for both runners and supporters.
Race Pack Collection: Collect your race pack on the day of the event from 7:00 am at the designated area.
Postage of race pack will be 7-10 days beofe the event
Hydration Stations: Stay refreshed with water stations positioned at regular intervals along the route. 6-12-18km
Participation Requirements
Registration Confirmation: Please bring a printed or digital copy of your registration confirmation for a hassle-free check-in.
Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older to compete in the half marathon.
Medical Considerations: We advise all runners to consult a healthcare professional if they have any health concerns prior to the race.

Number collection:
Numbers can be collected at the Race HQ in the Athboy Community Centre, Kildalkey Road, Athboy (C15 P280) between 6.00 – 7.30 pm on Friday and also at Fr Murphys AC club between 7pm & 8pm on Thursday 31st of July.
Registrations:
A limited number of entries will be available on the evening – Entry Fee €20.
Race Time:
The race starts at 8pm sharp. The start line is about a mile from the Community Centre, out the L4003 road, towards the Hill of Ward. Please leave yourself plenty of time to make your way out to the start.
Toilets:
Toilets are available in the Athboy Community Centre.
Car Parking
Car parking is available beside the Library, St. James RC Church, and along Main Street. There is no parking available at the Community Centre.

Western Yards - Connacht Backyard Ultra 2025
The Connacht Backyard Ultra is back! This time taking place during the warmer June Bank Holiday weekend.
The 6.7km looped course provides an ideal setting for the race. With only 20m of elevation gain per loop, the route takes runners through lush fields, along the Clarinbridge River, over grassy paths, and through the Kilcornan Woods, before returning to the start finish area at the historic Kilcornan Walled Garden, nearly 200 years old.
Whether you want to do 3 or 30 loops, there's something for everyone at this event.

Naas AC 5 miler 2025
Following on from its huge success for the inaugural run in 2024, The Naas AC 5Mile is a welcome addition to the Kildare running calendar and will be held for the 2nd time ever on Friday evening the 23rd of May 2025.
We welcome all runners for this community run- taking in the scenic roads of Tipper Road with the start and finish at the iconic Naas Racecourse.
Post race refreshments and prizegiving will be in Naas Racecourse Grandstand.
Prizes for top male and female runners along with a prize for top club.
